Nurses need your support this Saturday to protect patient care quality.

Nurses in our community are putting out a call for support.  The University of Michigan Health System is putting the quality of patient care in jeopardy. It is putting money above patients, and demanding that nurses accept lower standards of patient care.

You can help protect quality patient care this Saturday.  Join more than 1,000 registered nurses, teachers, local politicians, firefighters and community support groups this Saturday, August 13th, outside the front entrance of the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor at 11:30 a.m.

The change in nurses’ working conditions comes just as new children’s and women’s hospitals are getting ready to open at a cost of $760 million. The new cuts and restrictions will force some of our best nurses to seek work elsewhere and reduce the overall quality of patient care.

Join us for a 1-hour demonstration with the nurses to protect patient care.
